For operators
A brand and systems license for operators who would rather run the business than build a brand from nothing. You keep your own LLC, your own insurance, your own pricing, and your own team.
It is not a franchise. You are not giving up control of your business — you are removing the parts of it that do not need to be your problem.
What you get
The brand, licensed
Operate as "BlackCrate [Your City]" under a trademark and brand license — instant name recognition instead of building trust from zero.
Your own page on this site
Your city gets a page on the main BlackCrate site, linked straight to your own booking page — in front of customers already searching for a name they recognise.
The Operator Group
Compare notes with other operators as the network grows, instead of solving every problem alone.
Network-level deals
Positioning to benefit from exclusive supplier pricing and national partnership contracts as they are finalized.
City-to-city moves
A credible path toward offering moves between BlackCrate markets as the network expands.
Why the brand
You stop being your own IT department
Running independently means your own site, your own hosting, your own SEO, and every bit of maintenance that comes with keeping it working — time taken from bookings, partnerships and operations, which are the parts that actually make money. As an affiliate you skip all of it: your city lives on a page of this site, and there is no second site anywhere for you to own or maintain.
A local brand cannot move a customer between cities
An independent name works fine for a move within your city, and hits a wall the moment a customer leaves it. A customer relocating from one BlackCrate market to another gets the same crate system and a name they already trust, instead of vetting a stranger in an unfamiliar city.
National partnerships only exist at network level
A property manager with buildings in ten states wants one contract with one brand held to one standard — not ten negotiations with ten independently named operators. Affiliates are positioned for those deals; independent operators are not in the conversation.
To be clear
Your LLC, your insurance, your pricing, your team, and your day-to-day decisions. This is a brand and systems license, not a franchise agreement — there is no revenue share and no operational control handed over.
New to the business entirely? Start with the playbook. It is the whole model written down, and it works as a fully independent business under your own name.
